One promissory note, dated February 14, 1914, that was made by the Gregory, Mayer & Thom Company of Detroit to the Peoples State Bank of Detroit. It was typewritten in black text on white paper. The note terms indicated that $100,000 was being borrowed from the bank at a 6% interest rate and was to be repaid in semi-annual payments over a 5-year term. The note was signed by officers of the Gregory, Mayer & Thom Company and was embossed with the company seal. Repayments were recorded in handwritten text on two sheets that are attached with brass rivet-type fasteners.
