Color postcard depicting an elevated view of Capitol Park from the corner of Griswold and State Streets, with the Stevens T. Mason Monument, a fountain, pedestrians, streetcars, parked cars and the Farwell Building visible. Printed on verso: Capitol Square Park, and Griswold Street. Capitol Square Park is one of the delightful resting places located in the central part of the city within one block of the City Hall. It was formerly the location of the Central High School, which had to move to larger quarters. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Oct 9, 1916.
