Red Arrow Four Wheel Drive Truck

Description:
This truck was designed by Irving L. Stoney and Albert B. Bowman. Both had worked for several automotive manufacturers, and they received a patent for a four wheel drive system. They attempted to incorporate and begin manufacturing, but the business never materialized. The truck pictured may have been the only one built. The photograph was likely taken in 1919 or 1920. Construction of the state's Cass office building is seen in the background.
