Description:

National Foods was directly across North Washington Avenue from the A&P Foodstore. City Planning Division staff annotated the photo including the arrow drawn pointing to a woman walking beside a store clerk pushing a grocery cart. On the reverse is found, "The quote for arrow: 'Parks in front of National - shops at A&P.'"
