Ribbed Bottle; Fayoum; Glass vessels; Glass

- This yellow glass vessel is a mold-blown bottle with distinct “pillar-mold” ribs on body and neck. Body is straight sided, with distinct shoulder and wide cylindrical neck. Base is thick, with pontil mark, and vessel stands on its own. Entire vessel is abraded and weathered, with rust colored pits and particles of iridescence throughout. One large bubble is evident on interior. Mold blown of translucent, almost colorless, glass with yellowish tinge.
