Amasa B. Watson House

Notes:
Major Watson house in the hands of the wreckers, rear view. Torn down about 1927. In this rear view, two multi-story buildings can be seen towering above the missing roof; the one to the left is marked “Metz Building.” A sign on sawhorses near the right side of the image says “Owen Ames and Kimball." An interesting architectural feature remaining on the house is a circular window on the second floor, supported by a pillar. Several workmen are standing around amid the rubble. Chutes are mounted in the 2nd floor windows.
