Karanis; Textiles; Linen; Wool

Notes:
Blue/purple tapestry roundel with remnants of fine linen weft-wrapping which creates interlace designs. There are two small pieces of the brown background fabric still attached to the roundel. Another piece of brown fabric (Fragment B) was sewn to one side of the roundel and its attached brown background. At the other side, there are remnants of a fabric with brown/orange warp and green/blue weft. These fragments are, possibly, part of a tunic or other item of clothing.
