Group on Capitol Steps

Description:

Photo dates to sometime between the 1920s and early 1940s and shows a group of unidentified men and women on either the north or south steps of the state capitol building. In that time the two largest departments the state of Michigan government were the Secretary of State and the Attorney General's office, both of which employed many women.
