Lamp Nozzle Fragment; Pozzuoli; Lamps; Glaze; Clay (unfired)

Notes:
Reddish clay with mottled red glaze. Fragment of lamp broken in two parts and mended. Tow rounded nozzles flanked by double volutes, one nozzle missing. Air holes in necks. Stamped ovule pattern on rim but at bases of nozzles changes to row of double concentric circles. Raised molding set off by grooves between rim and discus. Channel leads from between bases of two nozzles to molded ring halfway down discus. Back half of lamp missing. Slightly raised base set off by groove.
