Notes:
Small fragment of woven wool fabric with a row of countered weft-twining and two weft band sections. The background color is yellowed. The bands are red. The weft-twining is done with two colors, alternating red and yellow in each half. The weft twining loops go over and under 2 warps. One red weft band is 1 cm wide and the other is 1.2 cm wide. For approximately 0.2 cm on each side of each band the weft is indistinct in color. Possible shaded band with red fiber blended with yellowed background color. “Rainbow” style shaded stripes?
