James Minisee

Notes:

Portrait of James Minisee, who purchased and farmed 100 acres starting in 1866; it was taken over by family members after his death and continued for over 100 years. He was also a devout member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Minisee is pictured in a three-piece suit, seated in an elegantly carved wood and velvet armchair.
