Figures are visible on board at the bow, outside the pilot house, and outside the aft cabin. Several buildings along a tree-lined shoreline are in the background. The image is captioned with the date, 1914. The non-archival envelope which previously housed the plate included the following hand-written details: 3140 - BOSTON blt 1880 Wyandotte 1294 gr., 643 n, 240' x 36.4' x15.6 still in register 1938 in gravel trade Buffalo, N.Y. 2742
