Notes:
Coarse red clay with soft and lighter red slip. Hebrew lamp. Horseshoe-shaped, has double convex body with sharp angle between two halves. Five wick holes across straight sloping front with raised double ladder pattern between each. Raised network pattern around curving rim. Flat top with large central filling hole around which is conventional pattern of dotted circles between which is network pattern. Band of parallel straight lines across front. Solid knob handle projects almost straight out from curving back, broken and partly missing. Plain flat reverse. Piece broken from back and mended. Decoration indistinct. Lamp partly coated with light brown mud.
