Soldiers and Sailors Monument built in 1881 at a cost of $70,000. The red building at right is the Hammond Building. The electric sign on top of building is one of the finest in the west and when in action gives a description of the famous Chariot Race of Ben Hur. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Aug 10, 1911.
