Color postcard depicting Washington Boulevard from Michigan Avenue, facing north. In view are the Hotel Statler, David Whitney Building, St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Alexander Macomb Monument, a fountain, and signs reading "Edison" and "Reliable". Printed on verso: Washington Boulevard extends from Michigan Avenue to Grand Circus Park. It was one of the principal residence streets, but on account of the rapid growth of Detroit, it is now being turned into a business thoroughfare. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Aug 19, 1915.
