Notes:

Spindle whorl in fairly good condition. Medium brown wood with fairly smooth surface texture. Decorated with three painted bands around whorl, which is a cone shape. Tiny cracks and pitted areas in whorl. Spindle broken. Length of whorl is 4.5 cm. Length of spindle is 16.0 cm.; Spindle whorl. Wood (Karanis Revealed, Wilfong).
