Homecoming week at Wayne State University saw the rise of unusual decorations scattered throughout the campus as part of the festivities during the week of Oct. 26 to 31.

- This lawn display by Alpha Epsilon Phi fraternity and others made by student organizations have been judged, with the most eye-appealing decors being awarded trophies during halftime activities at the Tartar-Western reserve football game on Oct. 31. Judges for this event were Miss Patricia Slattery and Curtis Coley, from the education division of the Detroit Institute of Arts, and Bill Collin, manager of the Student Activities Service Office.
