Notes:

Horse unnaturally couchant, wearing a harness and double forehead bands, looks to left. Summary features with exaggerated muzzle and open mouth. Seam mars face. Body is narrow and modeled like that of a couchant lion, with hindlegs crouching flat upon the ground. Plane along edge of front legs is squared off and bottom is flat. Reddish brown clay (Muns. 2.5 yr 4/4) moulded semi-hollow in two halves and sealed lengthwise down center. Black stains. Scattered chips. Salting.
