A man is visible crossing the street in the central foreground; the Baker Art Studio is visible adjacent to the intersecting thoroughfare on the west side of Washington. Two pedestrians are also seen walking the sidewalk aligning the intersection. Written on the verso, "Washington Ave., west side, Clifford to Park, looking north, 1910."

- Print. Large sepia-toned photographic print depicting the west side of Woodward Avenue from Clifford Street to Grand Circus Park (as indicated on verso). Businesses along this stretch include A.B. Sears Undertaking, Horton's Scotch Bakery, Jas N. Davie Harness, Wolff's Trunk Factory, a cigar and liquor store, and Detroit's Throat and Lung Institute. A freestanding sign for Howe's Sewing Machines is posted on the sidewalk on the east side. Grand Circus Park is visible in the background on the right. Streetcar rails, two horse-drawn wagons and several people are in view as well. "Mrs. Anna S. Randall, 103 Woodland, Detroit," and "Before 1888" also handwritten on verso.
