- Harold Fisher's grandfather started the first commercial fishing business in Grand Haven, located on Dewey Hill. In this interview, Harold discusses the family business, the family's involvement in the First Reformed Church, as well as childhood memories and his service days as a young man in the Air Force during World War II. For nearly twenty years, Harold worked for the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District as Vocational Director, Director of Special Projects, and Director of Personnel. He was a business consultant for Northern Michigan University for three years, and he worked for Grand Haven Public Schools as a math teacher and Coordinator of Business Education. Harold was also employed by the University of Michigan as an adjunct instructor of vocational education. He was elected to the Grand Haven City Council in 1959.

- Nineteen year old Lansing Community College freshman Tyler Ford talks about living in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia with his father who worked for an oil company and moving back to the U.S. to live in East Lansing, MI with his mother, and says that he regrets not taking full advantage of living abroad. He also discusses his parent's marriage and divorce and life at LCC saying he has remained focused in college despite the "freshman foolishness" around him. Ford sees extensive travel in his future and says that he doesn't believe that children will fit into that life style.

- Terry Curry, associate provost and associate vice president for Academic Human Resources at Michigan State University, discusses the university's Faculty Grievance Policy (FGP) and the position of Faculty Grievance Official (FGO). Curry talks about his role in the grievance process as a representative of the MSU administration, his relationships with several FGOs, his justification for reducing the FGO to a part-time position and the changes he would like to see made in the FGP. Curry says that both MSU faculty and administrators have felt at various times that the FGP and FGO have been biased towards the other side in disputes. Curry is interviewed by Robert Banks, former MSU associate provost and associate vice president for Academic Human Resources and John Revitte, former MSU professor emeritus of Labor Studies.

- American revolutionary turned professor of education William Ayers discusses the modern war on terror, which he calls never ending and the invasion of Iraq. He reflects on communist theory, the Weather Underground, the future he envisioned in a post-colonial, democratic socialist society, and finally draws the conclusion that the U.S. wants unfettered power everywhere. Ayers says history is being made every day and challenges people to make choices about the kind of society that they want. Ayers is interviewed in the G. Robert Vincent Voice Library studios by Michigan State University students Samantha Dresser and Ted Trexel, prior to delivering a talk at the MSU Library.
