- Spindle whorl in fairly good condition. Medium brown wood with fairly smooth surface texture. Decorated with three painted bands around whorl, which is a cone shape. - Spindle wound with cotton, in good condition. Light brown reed with very smooth, shiny surface and linen thread.; Spindle with thread. Reed, cotton (Karanis Revealed, Wilfong). Note by S. Davis on 9 July 2019 - the yarn / thread on the reed is linen, not cotton. Under magnification, the yarn shows the nodules characteristic of bast fibers and lacks the twists characteristic of cotton. With crossed polarized light the thread shows bright birifrigence in the colors of blue, green, and violet.; Part of a reed spindle shaft which is wrapped with spun linen yarn.

- Very small spindle whorl in fairly good condition. Dark brown wood with smooth surface texture, decorated with incised band around the bottom. Large crack in the side. Spindle broken at end. Scratched area on side. Length of whorl is 1.7 cm and length of spindle is 16.0 cm.
