Next, Norris Jewelry Repair at 103, Phoenix Optical at 105, Pacific Finance Loans at 107, American Laundry at 111, Downtown Parking Lot at 117, Hal Clark Tailors at 121 and American Bank and Trust at 123 East Washtenaw Street. An automobile is seen turning into East Washtenaw from South Grand Avenue. City Planning Division staff annotated the photo. Next, Vandervoort Marine Sales replaced the Dura-Chrome Dinette Co. at 417. Michigan Liquor Control Commission Retail and Wholesale Store remained at 417. A&P grocery completed the block at 425 but had received a new exterior. City Planning Division staff annotated the photo.

The north side of East Washtenaw is also seen in the background: Ellison Book Shop at 101, Pacific Finance Loans at 107, American Laundry at 111 and Hal Clark tailor at 121 East Washtenaw Street.
