- Built in 1886, located on the corner of Allegan and Townsend streets. From a Lansing "State Republican" article of October 15, 1886, about the home: "The masonry was done by Chittenden, the building by Fuller & Wheeler, and the painting by Voiselle and Larose. Most of the timber used in the structure was taken from Mr. Moores' pine lands in Northern Michigan."

- Located at 114 North Grand Avenue. Text on postcard reads: "Hotel Kerns Tragedy Lansing Mich. Dec. 10th, 1934. Several lost their lives by jumping into Grand River." The date on the photograph is incorrect; the fire began at about 5:30am on December 11, 1934. Gift of the family of C.R. Stebbins.
