- A view of the muddy "Main Street", the intersection of Hamilton and Okemos roads looking east. The building at the left edge of the photograph was the Union Hotel, and the one next to it was the Odd Fellows' Hall, followed by a white wood-sided general store. Hamilton Road was formerly known as Detroit Road. This is a duplicate photograph. The original source is unknown.

- Description:
- A group of unidentified people in a wooded area presumably near a recent train wreck. The story with this photograph is that when the people were told by a photographer at the wreck that they'd have their picture taken, they all rushed home to change their clothes.
