- Four views. Gift of Walter Neller family. Photo a shows a parking lot on the southeast of Grand Avenue and Allegan Street, and Brauer's 1861 House restaurant. Photo b shows Allegan Street looking east, including the Board of Water and Light "Electricity" sign, Dino's Fine Foods Steak Restaurant, and other businesses. Photo c shows a parking lot on the corner of Allegan Street. Photo d is looking west on Michigan Avenue from the intersection with Grand Avenue. Consumer's Power Co., American Bank & Trust, Barker Fowler Appliances, and other businesses can be seen.

The Lansing and Suburban Traction Co. had extended a line to the park in 1904, after obtaining the property the previous year and changing its name from Leadley's to Waverly Park. Donated by H. Standish.
