Printed on verso: Capitol Square Park, situated in the business district of the city, is one of the many small breathing spots which Detroit's Park and Boulevard Commission keeps beautiful the year round. It takes its name from the fact that, for several years, the building housing the Michigan offices occupied the property, before the center of government was transferred to Lansing. Printed on verso: Detroit Opera House and Palmer Fountain. - This beautiful fountain was donated to the city by Mrs. Thos. W. Palmer several years ago. It is located on the Campus Martius which was reserved as a breathing spot in the "Governor and Judges" plan, adopted for the city in its earliest history. The Opera House is one of the finest in the country and caters to high class shows only. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Apr 10, 1910.

Clark's Park is situated on Clark, Scotten and Dix Avenues. Half of it was donated by John P. Clark in 1890 and the balance purchased by the city.
