- Louise Rentschler Feldkamp, as a young woman. A formal portrait wearing a beautiful dress. Louise came from a large family-she was one of 15 children. Louisa's parents came from Wuertemburg, Germany. Her father was Johann G. Rentschler (June 10, 1825-Nov. 19, 1890) and her mother was Kunigunde Dieterle (April 8, 1818-Aug. 26, 1904), both of whom are buried at Bethel Church Cemetery.

- The Citizen's Bank building at 100 W. Michigan Avenue was built in 1865 by William Davenport as a store. The safe in the store was so used by the community that a bank was formed in 1885. Carl Curtiss on the left took over the bank in 1930 upon the death of Beverley Davenport, son of the founder. Lloyd Fairbanks on the right was an official of the bank.

- Caption: "Saline's Chicago Road (Michigan Avenue). This is the view of Saline's main business district that met the eye of the Detroit or Chicago-bound traveler in the gay 1890s. The building on the right, with awning, is new occupied by the Fred Nissley store; that on the left, also with awning (closest to camera) is now the Fred Henne hardware store."
