The front of the postcard depicts many different boats on Lake Kalamazoo as the day turns to night and lights are shining on the water. Coral Gables and the village's active dockside community can be seen in the distance. The back of the postcard bares no handwriting but the description in the upper lefthand corner reads: "Saugatuck, Michigan.
