The block ends with the Tussing building at West Ottawa Street, home of the Palms Theatre at 209 and the College Drugstore at 201. Buildings seen to the south include the Bank of Lansing at 101 North Washington Avenue, Prudden building on South Washington and West Michigan Avenue, and the Michigan National Tower at West Allegan Street and South Capitol Avenue. - Although a street address, "1105 Williams", is written on the reverse of the photo, no city directory shows a barbecue at that address around the time likewise written on the photo. Instead a series of churches occupied 1105 William (the only similar streetname in Lansing) for short periods of time.The building behind the sign could be a small church. The photo's reverse is also annotated with "618."
