- William Kimball talks about the rehabilitation of barns in Michigan, a presentation he developed as part of a Michigan Council for the Humanities grant. The first video is the main portion of Kimball's presentation. In the second video, Gail Crane talks about the move of a barn from Frankenmuth to Stoll Road in Lansing. The remainder of Kimball's barn presentation follows. This program took place at the Turner-Dodge House and Heritage Center.

- An oral history from Walter Graff, longtime Eastern High School coach, member of the Knights Templar, the Lansing parks board, and an inductee in the Greater Lansing Sports Hall of Fame. He was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan near Iron Mountain, and was also a veteran of World War I. Walter Graff was interviewed by James Walkinshaw and Graff's son-in-law Duane Vernon at the Burcham Hills retirement center on November 8, 1988. A transcript for this recording has not been completed.

According to the Lansing State Journal, the banquet was held at the People's Church in East Lansing, with guests from around the state. The principal speaker was George Fuller, state historian.

- On reverse: "This beautiful bridge spans the Straits of Mackinac, and connects Michigan's two great peninsulas at Mackinaw City and St. Ignace. Destined by Dr. D. B. Steinman to withstand many times the recorded stresses of ice pressure, wind velocity, gravity, and so forth. Overall length of bridge is 5 miles; center span 3800 feet long between two 565-ft. towers; 8614 ft. between anchorages.
