This card gives you a view of one of our lumber tracks, and is presented to show you the manner in which we store out boards to insure perfect seasoning. The shed shown extended to the right at the upper end and to the left at the office end, in shape like [zigzag line] and is 1946 ft. long with a storage capacity for 3,330,900 feet of lumber. The frame building is the yard Master's office. We shall take you through our entire plant with a series of these cards and trust they may be of interest to you. Murphy Chair Company, Detroit. - Color postcard depicting a street view of the Ford plant in Highland Park. A water tower, and six American flags are visible. Handwritten message on verso reads "It is the only car on the streets.", postmarked Sep 18, 1913. Printed on verso: Ford Motor Company, Detroit, Mich. The Ford Motor Company is located at Highland Park and can be reached by taking Woodward Avenue Cars marked Log Cabin. There are more Fords made than any other car in the World, and much credit is given Henry Ford for his earnest efforts to make Detroit the Automobile City.
