- Large certificate, printed on heavy cardstock, issued by the Medical Department of the Army of the United States on March 1, 1924 to Harper Hospital, recognizing the hospital's "support of the national defense program... and patriotism by organizing and fostering a General Hospital as a unit of the Organized Reserves of the Army of the united States." The certificate is signed by Merritte Weber Ireland, the Surgeon General of the United States Army.
