- Sepia-toned photo of a group of nine people sitting and standing around a picnic table at Belle Isle. The group consists of three men, four women, a girl, and a boy. The girl sits on the ground, while the rest sit on benches. The younger women wear hats, and light colored blouses, while the older woman wears a dark dress. Two of the men wear vests over their shirts, the third wears a tie and suspenders with his shirt. Hats and coats are piled in the foreground on the right. Other picnicers and a pavilion surrounded by flowers are among the trees in the background.

- Mounted sepia-toned photographic print of the construction site for the Belle Isle Casino, as taken from the northwest. Much of the building's ground floor is in place. Workers use wooden scaffolding equipped with a pulley system to work on the building's second floor. Two small steam engines are visible among the construction debris near the east side of the building. The verso is stamped with "Received Aug 30 1906, Answered."

- Black and white photographic print from a glass plate negative of canoeists on one of Belle Isle's lakes at the start of a canoe parade on August 25, 1906. Passengers and paddlers are in the canoes, along with decorative flags, parasols, and even a pillow decorated with a skull and crossbones. Spectators watch the canoes from the shore on the immediate left, as well as from the further shore in the background on the right. "#766 Start of the Canoe Parade, Belle Isle, Aug. 25 1906, Det.
