- Cabinet card bearing a sepia-toned head-and-shoulders portrait photograph of Detroit Fire Commissioner Jerome Croul. This photograph is one of a series of eight photos of former Detroit Fire Department Commissioners. The decorative engraved logo of the photographer (Randall) has been torn off of the verso of the cabinet card photo. The proof bears the name of "Geo. Francis Train" at the bottom, and a stamp for Randall, 220 & 222 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich." is shown on the verso.

- Sepia-toned head-and-shoulders portrait photograph of a Detroit fireman. The badge on the cap reads, "DFD 203" and the badge on the jacket reads, "Detroit 203." The bottom of the image notes the photography studio of, "Friend & Smith, 244 - 246 Woodward Ave, Detroit." Noted on verso, "Wm. Sullivan," this is possibly an image of William Sullivan. Sullivan was a Lieutenant for Hook and Ladder Co. No. 2.

- Sepia-toned mounted photo of the workers of Great Lakes Engineering Works' Pipefitting Department posed outside of the complex's Pipefitting Department building. The workers are predominately clad in overalls and caps, and they pose among valves and pipes beneath the building's stenciled "Pipefitting Dept." sign. "10-10-1918," is printed in the bottom center of the photo. The photo is mounted on beige cardboard with a decorative brown border. "Fred Mogk, Photographer, 23 Henry St. River Rouge - Michigan," is stamped on the verso.

- Photo. Full length, sepia-toned, oval portrait of James Battle, chief of the Detroit Fire Department in 1870 (as identified on verso). Battle is posing in a "chief" sash, and next to a "chief engineer" helmet, and horn. Battle was noted for being first paid chief of the department after its formation in 1865. - Sepia-toned composite group portrait of the members of the Detroit Fire Department in 1890, composed of 207 separate head-and-shoulder portraits of unidentified firefighters arranged in rows on the right, and, on the left, portraits of Chief James Battle, Assistant Chiefs James R. Elliott and Mark H. Gascoigne, First Battalion Chief John Kendall, Second Battalion Chief James C. Broderick, Third Battalion Chief William J. Gowan, Superintendent of Horses Allan. Armstrong, and Master Mechanic Francis Beaufait, as well as a photo of Detroit Fire Department Headquarters on the northeast corner of Wayne Street and Larned Street. Images of several pieces of firefighting equipment for a design surrounding the portrait of Battle, and the left edge of the image. A.G. - Sepia-toned panoramic group portrait composed of two photos pasted together of a gathering of members of the Detroit Goodfellows posed outside of the American Printing Company. The groups is composed of men clad in coats, hats, aprons printed with "For Base Ball Results, The News," and newspaper carrier bags. Snow covers the ground. Signs, one on a post in the foreground and the other on a windowsill in the back, read, "Detroit Christmas Fund. Old News Boys. 'No Kiddie Without a Christmas.'" The foreground sign has been retouched to darken the text. A circled "1" has been drawn beside one of the kneeling men at the lower left.
