The book contains letters, resolutions, the program for the day's events, transcripts of speeches given during the day, and the one of the original menus which is pasted between pages. The book is bound in a green cover.

- Letter from Mr. William E. Scotten, President, of the Scotten Tobacco Company to Mr. Frank W. Kuchenbecker, dated January 2, 1901. The letter is handwritten in black ink and includes the engraved letterhead of the Scotten Tobacco Company of Detroit. The text of the letter is transcribed as follows: "Mr. Frank W. Kuchenbecker % J. Jenks & Co. Harbor Beach, Mi. Dear Sir: We have written to Messrs. J. Jenks also - asking them to recommend a young man who would like a chance to sell our goods in the Thumb and adjacent territory and have their letter in reply recommending yourself. If you wish to take the position and demonstrate your ability, write us at once and report here as soon as possible. Awaiting you prompt reply, we are Yours truly, Scotten Tobacco Wm. E. Scotten Presdt."

- Color postcard depicting an elevated view along Woodward Avenue at Grand Circus Park, facing north with the Central United Methodist Church and Y.M.C.A. Building in the background. Printed on verso: Woodward Avenue Looking North. - This Bird's Eye view was taken from the corner of Woodward Avenue and part Street and shows Grand Circus Park on both sides. The tall building on the right is the new Y.M.C.A., which was erected in 1908; and the entire cost of same will be in the neighborhood of $700,,000.00. This is one of the most complete buildings of its kind in the country and boasts of a gymnasium second to none. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul 2, 1910.

- Detroit Car Company stock certificate number 279 for sixteen shares issued to Mrs. Isabelle Hosie on July 24, 1873. The certificate was printed by the Calvert Lithographing Company and features an illustration of a steam engine pulling a box car and several passenger cars with a boat in the background. The certificate is singed by the Detroit Car Company's president C.S. Cram, and its secretary James A. Armstrong. Four payments are noted on the verso between October 19, 1899, and April 1901.
