- Liberty Show House in 1929, after bombing. Three show houses were bombed at this time. Brick, commercial, 2-story building with three sets of upstairs windows. Just below the windows is a large sign “LIBERTY.” On the street level below the sign are large display windows, one of which holds a movie poster for a Harold Lloyd movie (title is obscured by people standing in front of it). The other window bears a sign “Open for business”. A corrugated roof overhang is attached at the top of the building, and short brick towers at each end rise from ground level to a little above the roof. Each of the towers also has a display window at ground level, with movie posters displayed. About a dozen warmly dressed people are standing here and there in front of the theater, and there is snow on the ground.
