- French, Belgian, and Russian prisoners assemble in the prison compound at Neumuenster for roll call in front of the camp barracks. The presence of armed German guards suggest that these men will serve in labor detachments outside the facility during the day. A group of Allied medics are assembled in the middle of the photograph with their supplies.

- Russian, French, Belgian, and British POW's stand in line for their daily roll call in front of their barracks at Nuernberg. The Germans integrated the Allied prisoners within prison camps to avoid accusations of prejudice or mistreatment and, mockingly, to promote "comradery" among the Allied soldiers.

- Notes:
- Belgian and French prisoners wait patiently in line outside of the kitchen in Zossen to receive a bowl of soup. The same prisoners happily pose for a picture with hot soup after receiving their meals in the camp kitchen. Individual distribution of rations was inefficient but it guaranteed equality between the POW's. Service to barrack representatives represented a faster distribution of rations but German authorities could not supervise the actual disposition inside all of the barracks.

Their walls are decorated with a number of pictures. Goettingen was a propaganda camp for Belgian POW's, who received special privileges during their incarceration.
