- Wounded British prisoners sit in a hospital tent behind Turkish lines in Gallipoli during the Dardenelles campaign in 1915. The tent flaps are open to provide some ventilation for the POW's. Although the campaign was bloody, the Turks took relatively few prisoners during the battle.

- This color poster advertises the Dottyville Pierrot Troupe for their September 18, 1918 performance at the prison camp at Kedos. Prisoners performed in the pierrot show which featured pantomime and comedy acts.

- British prisoners chase the ball during a field hockey match at Yozgad. Spectators enjoy the tournament from the sidelines. Sports kept the players in shape and provided entertainment for the spectators.

- Several British prisoners had the opportunity to go skiing in the mountains outside of Yozgad during the winter. The Turkish authorities felt confident that British POW's could not travel very far in the mountains of Anatolia, especially during the winter.
