Gun platform and casemate numbers are shown along with brief status/condition notes. The drawing is shown at a scale of 1 inch = 25 feet. Handwritten text beneath the title shows "Prepared in accordance with Printed Circular from the Office of the Chief Engineers, Washington, D.C., January 20, 1872," and is signed, "G. L. Gillespie, Major of Engineers." A second handwritten note shows "Note: Alterations in Report Jan. 16th 1874, in red. See Capt. M. B. Adams, USE, report and letter to me of Nov. 3 '75. C. E. Blunt, Lt. Col. Engrs."
