- Image of a woman in white dress and dark jacket walking along the northeast side of Western Knitting Mills. Chapman Lake, also known as Chapman Pond, can be seen to the left. The Western Knitting Mills factory was built in 1896 and produced knitted goods until 1939. The building was later owned by the McAleer Manufacturing Company, later known as the Higbie Manufacturing Company, and then ITT Higbie. In 1994 the Rochester Mills Beer Company restored the building and it now operates as a restaurant and brewery. Addressed to Mr. And Mrs. Julius Schultz of Capac, Michigan from Nellie. "The Dime Bank, McGraw and Free Press Buildings, Detroit Mich. The Dime Bank Building is 23 stories high and is the best elevation from which to view the city and its surroundings. On a clear day from here can be seen: Canada, Lake St. Clair, Belle Isle, and and beautiful Detroit for a distance of five miles. It contains 1000 offices." is printed on the verso.
