- Color postcard depicting a lumber shed at the Murphy Chair Company, with a water tower in the background and train tracks in the foreground. Printed on verso: Another Yard View. This view shows a portion of one of the sheds used for the storage of dimension stock. There are four of these sheds, with a combined capacity of 4,484,260 feet of lumber. - Color postcard depicting an aerial view of the Ford plant in Highland Park. Automobiles, smokestacks and water towers are visible. Printed on verso: The parent plant of the Ford Motor Company, located at Detroit, Mich., employs 65,000 men and produces parts for 8,000 cars a day. The first car was shipped from this factory January 1, 1910, and the Ten-Millionth Model "T" Ford came off the assembly line June 4, 1924. The plant covers 278 acres, of which 105 are under roof.

- One postcard entitled "Packard Motor Car Company, Detroit, Mich." The postcard shows a color photographic image of the front of the 4-story factory building with many workers walking on the street in the foreground. A park area with trees is visible in the right foreground area. The number, "1322," is printed in the lower left corner. The verso has a handwritten note in blue ink and a black ink postmark that shows "Hamtramck, Mich."

- Color postcard depicting the large Garland Stove with the Michigan Stove Co. in the background. The stove reads "Garland Stoves and Ranges, The World's Best". Printed on verso: The Largest Stove in the World, Michigan Stove Co., Detroit, Mich. This Garland Stove is the largest in the world and is located on the grounds of the Michigan Stove Company. Directly underneath this for years stood the stump of a tree that marked the place where Chief Pontiac met his death in one of the bloodiest battles ever fought in this section of the country. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Aug 9, 1917. [This was the location of "Pontiac's Tree," for years a Detroit landmark - in reality, Pontiac was killed in what is now Illinois. JLS]

- Black and white photographic postcard showing aerial view of the Ford Rouge complex. Printed on verso: THE ROUGE PLANT is one of the largest industrial centers in the world. It has an area of 1,906 acres, 14 miles of roadways, 92 miles of railway track and 1 1/3 miles of docks. It includes blast furnaces, open hearth and steel mill, glass plant, foundry, paper mill, cement plant, body plant, coke ovens, power plant and motor assembly plant where new Model A engines are built.
