- Salesman stands by three automobiles and three winners of the Pontiac Contest outside the Paper City Motor Sales dealership on 411 West Kalamazoo Avenue in Kalamazoo, Michigan. A Western Union telegraph sign is posted in the front window of the dealership. A neon sign advertises Cadillac and Pontiac automobiles. In the background, a poster on the neighboring brick building advertises Midway Auto Supply tire service. Paper City Motor Sales was later aquired by James Gilmore and became Gilmore Pontiac and Cadillac.
