- Description:
- Two people in a field of sweet peas at the Oakview farm. The D.M. Ferry Company, later known as the Ferry-Morse Seed Company, expanded operations from Detroit to Avon Township in 1902. Oakview Farm comprised the area between South Rochester Road, East Hamlin Road, John R Road, and East Auburn Road. In 1912, the company increased the size of the farm northward, so that it reached to East Avon Road. Oakview was the site of the company’s trial grounds and stock seed breeding operations until 1944. - Description:
- Multiple farm structures with a horse barn to the far right in winter at the Oakview farm. The D.M. Ferry and Company catalog printed by the Gulley Printing House with illustrations by the Calvert Lithograph Company, containing information and illustrations of the company's fields and other facilities, as well as descriptions and illustrations of the fruits, vegetables, flowers, and farming tools available through the company. A girl waters flowers through a window on the front cover, and a small boy and girl share a large slice of watermelon in a field, surrounded by a border of vegetables on the back.

- Description:
- The Kremer carriage shop with chicken coop attached are pictured. Individuals in the photograph include from left to right, Gladys Kremer (Clarence's wife), Will Fox (neighbor) and Eliza Jane Kremer. Frank Kremer was a carriage builder in Rochester on East Alley. These individuals are "playing horse" at a Ladies Aid Meeting at the Kremer home.
