- This small collection includes three 45rpm recordings and a portrait of Normajean Mosher in West Junior High School band uniform with her french horn. The records are home studio-type 45rpm records with brands Wilcox-Gay, Recordio, and Presto, all dating from 1944. Two of the records appear to be from when Normajean Mosher was stationed in the San Francisco area in in a military band, and the third is a Mosher family recording, 1944. Normajean Mosher attended West Junior High, Central High School (graduating in 1942), and Michigan State University. She married Mervin LaVern Munk in 1947.

- Elk's Band. B.P.O.E. 48 band on the steps of the Grand Rapids Public Library's Ryerson Building. Uniforms consist of white trousers and dark buttonless jackets with white belts and shoulder straps. Many of the band are holding their instruments and the bass drum is in the center.
