- The Sons of the American Legion Band also included a few daughters. The instruments held are saxophones, clarinets, trumpets, a bass, a trombone and drums. All are wearing capes and caps with plumes.

- Description:
- This small collection includes three 45rpm recordings and a portrait of Normajean Mosher in West Junior High School band uniform with her french horn. The records are home studio-type 45rpm records with brands Wilcox-Gay, Recordio, and Presto, all dating from 1944. Two of the records appear to be from when Normajean Mosher was stationed in the San Francisco area in in a military band, and the third is a Mosher family recording, 1944. Normajean Mosher attended West Junior High, Central High School (graduating in 1942), and Michigan State University. She married Mervin LaVern Munk in 1947.
