- Color postcard depicting people on a bridge over the Lily Pond on Belle Isle. Printed on verso: Lily Pond on Belle Isle. Detroit's principal recreation spot is an island in the Detroit river connecting with the city by a bridge, 8 feet less than half a mile in length. It comprises 702 acres, is over two miles long and boasts over 20 miles of fine macadam roadway which completely circles and frequently intersects it. A fine zoo, aquarium, horticultural building, swimming and skating pavilions, casino and boat livery are in connection. The city has expended over $1,500,000 on it since its purchase in 1879. Typed message on verso, postmarked Dec 3, 1908.

- Black and white photo of a canoe parade on Belle Isle's Loop Canal on August 25. 1906, as shot from the bandstand bridge facing an adjacent bridge. Canoes crowd the canal. Most carry at least one passenger, and are outfitted with pivoting lanterns, and pillows. The seating along the banks of the canal is filled with spectators, many carrying umbrellas. Spectators also line the bridge in the background. "#767 Canoe Parade from Band Stand, Belle Isle, Aug 25, 1906," is handwritten on the verso.
