Kresge store and City Hall (in the process of being dismantled). A kiosk with advertising for the College Rexall Drugs in East Lansing is also visible; there was a branch of this drug store chain on South Washington Street in downtown Lansing as well. The photograph was taken on Capitol Avenue in Lansing. Originally part of the Carl Dalrymple Collection. Image has been partially hand tinted.

A rubberstamp imprint "File Copy" partly obscures the Lewis Cass Building. On the reverse is the creator's file number 5125A and the date, December 26, 1969.
