Cushing (1831-1915), a realtor in Detroit, Michigan; and the children of Christian and Emma Breisch; their daughter Gertrude Irene Breisch Jarred (1890-1952); their son Harold C. Breisch (1893-1949); their daughter Louise R. Breisch (1905-2003). Workers fill in the strips along the center of the aisles where the tracks that supported the boat's carriages ran, so that they can be replaced with tracks for automotive assembly lines. The construction occurring is joining the two Hudson's buildings together where Himelhoch's Department Store was once located. A series of intricate scaffolding is visible atop the sidewalk and in front of the structure. Automobiles are parked along Woodward Avenue in front of Hudson's, and The Newcomb-Endicott Company in the background.
