Ferry and Company Seed Warehouse above a logo which reads, "D.M. Ferry & Co. Seed Merchants, Growers & Importers, Detroit, Mich." The envelope is postmarked Detroit, February 3, 1886, and bears a two cent brown George Washington stamp. A Pierrepont Manor, New York, February 4, 1886 postmark is on the verso.
