- Kresge at 216 and show store at 214 South Washington Avenue. From directly across South Washington Avenue. To the rear looms the Masonic Temple that faces South Capitol Avenue. City Planning Division staff trimmed the photo. It appears the trimming was intended to mate the photo with 2015-06-003.V7.045 although the perspectives are different enough to make the Masonic Temple in the background appear twice if these photos were actually composited.

- A Chevrolet is prominent in the photo. From right to left, S. S. Kresge department store at 114, Harryman Shoes at 118. Tom Green Shoes at 120, and Cunningham Drugstore at 122 South Washington Avenue are in the Hollister building. Knapp's department store can be seen at 300 South Washington Avenue.

- Merritt & Bailey Shoes at 112 North Washington Avenue, Christian Supply Center upstairs at 112 1/2, National Distributors at 114, and Public Loan Corporation at 114 1/2 are seen. City Planning Division staff cut the photo and made several annotations. One of which indicates that 112 was formerly Kleinhans Men's Wear.

- Elevated view looking east from the Commerce Center Building. The parking ramp owned by Michigan National Bank at 231 South Capitol Avenue is seen in the foreground. Also seen is the roof of Knapp's department store at 300 South Washington Avenue and shops along the 200 block of South Washington Avenue and East Washtenaw. In the distant background can be seen Lansing Board of Water and Light water treatment facilities on South Cedar Street, warehouses on East Michigan Avenue, Sparrow Hospital further out on East Michigan Avenue, and buildings at Boy's Training School on North Pennsylvania Avenue.
